Becoming Catholic
If you feel called to join the Catholic Church, our RCIA (Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults) program is the path to full communion. This journey is open to:
- Adults who have never been baptized and wish to become Catholic
- Christians from other denominations who want to enter the Catholic Church
- Baptized Catholics who have not received Confirmation or Eucharist
What to Expect in RCIA:
- Weekly meetings to explore the Catholic faith
- Spiritual guidance and prayer
- Reflection on the Bible and Church teachings
- Preparation for Baptism, First Communion, and Confirmation
The program follows the liturgical year and culminates in the Easter Vigil, where participants receive their sacraments.

First Holy Communion (Children’s Program)
Children aged 7 and older are invited to prepare for First Holy Communion. The program includes:
- Learning about the Eucharist and Mass
- Understanding Reconciliation (Confession)
- A special retreat for children and parents
Register at: contact@englishmassutrecht.nl.
Confirmation (Youth & Adults)
For teenagers and adults who have already been baptized but have not yet received Confirmation, we offer a preparation course. This sacrament strengthens the gifts of the Holy Spirit and deepens one’s commitment to the Church.

Sunday School
During Sunday morning Masses, we invite the youngest members of our community to learn about Jesus and the Gospel in a fun and engaging way.
We talk about the same themes that adults hear in Mass, but we do it through play, drawing, singing, and dancing.
Children make new friends and listen to the Word together in a joyful, welcoming environment.
