First Holy Communion Preparation in English: Registration Now Open
Are you a Catholic parent with a son or daughter aged 8-10 (or older)? We are pleased to announce that First Holy Communion preparation will be offered in English for children in our community.
What to expect
The preparation programme runs from January 2027 to June 2027, with 11 sessions held from 15:00 to 16:00 at the Thomas a Kempis Leerhuis. Through these sessions, children will be guided in their faith as they prepare to receive Jesus in the Eucharist for the first time.
The First Holy Communion itself will be celebrated on a Sunday at 16:00 in Majella Church, Utrecht. The exact date is still to be confirmed, and we will share it as soon as it is known.
How to register
Please register by 1 December 2026. You can sign up using the First Communion Preparation Registration Form, either through the link provided or by scanning the QR code on the poster. If you prefer, you are also welcome to contact Valerie Bingham or Andreu Labian directly with any questions.
Please share this news with other Catholic families who may be interested. We look forward to walking with your children on this special step in their journey of faith.
