March 25 Consecration of Russia and Ukraine to the Immaculate Heart of Mary

From Friday 25 March 19.00 hours till Saturday 19.00 hours the yearly 24 hours Adoration will take place in St.Catherine’s. We start with a Holy Mass. Cardinal Eijk and his 2 bishops will be the celebrants in this extraordinary Holy Mass which will partly be in English. All because of the Consecration of Russia and Ukraine to the Immaculate Heart of Mary according to the second secret of Fatima. The Consecration will take place in Rome by Pope Francis.

Donations for Refugees Ukraine

People from our English Mass community donated € 220,80 today for the Ukraine refugees after the Holy Mass. The special request for the ask for help is an initiative from the European and Dutch Bishops. The money will be used for fresh water supplies, food, help to countries like Hungary, Poland and Moldavia and so on. You can donate money to: bankaccount NL21 INGB 000 000 58 50 t.n.v. Ashwednesday 19.00 hours St. Catherine’s

Today it’s the beginning of Lent. We start with the celebrating of Ashwednesday at 19.00 hours in the Cathedral. Everybody is invited to join! Livestream at our facebookpage starts at 18.55 hours. The Holy Mass will be mainly in Dutch and partly in English. Bishop Woorts, together with Father Hans are the celebrants. Deacon André will assist. You can take old palmleaves with you. They will be collected. At 17.15 hours churchbells of St. Catherine’s and many other churches in the Netherlands will ring to express our solidarity with Ukraine.
